I am passionate about mental health and working to make tackling our own mental health issues approachable. I have a compassionate and realistic approach to mental health and view it as a necessary part of anyone’s life. I believe therapy is most effective by providing a non-judgmental space for people to be heard, appreciated, and validated. I break things down into simple terms through relaxed conversation and having a good sense of humor. I’ve found this helps people who may be intimidated or possibly reluctant to approach topics of mental health. I feel that it is my responsibility to create a space for you to be able to leave everyday life for a time. I work with those struggling with chemical and behavioral addictions, including sex addiction, and recognize that those problems will also correlate with mental health struggles such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and other experiences and issues.

I value and celebrate our different life experiences. Those experiences have a part in shaping who we are and how we experience the world. I create and maintain an environment of safety for people from all walks of life to explore and discover themselves. I want to work collaboratively with you to realize and bolster your strengths while also acknowledging and working through areas in life that may be causing difficulty. My practice is rooted in Adlerian theory, and I take an integrative approach to therapy. This means I use a variety of orientations, strategies, and techniques; all with the goal to increase positive self-regard, self-efficacy, and confidence in life.
