Regula Badertscher Gallo

Licensed Graduate Social Worker

I am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker at Cornerstone with over 14 years of experience providing therapy to adults, adolescents and children. My experience has been in a variety of clinical settings within the U.S. and Switzerland including community mental health centers, social services, research centers and psychotherapy clinics.

I believe that one’s life events impact our physical, emotional and spiritual body. Therefore, my perspective on psychotherapy is based in a holistic, body-mind-spirit approach. I believe that unresolved trauma is the core cause of most emotional suffering we experience in daily life. I am trained and deeply dedicated to helping clients heal complex trauma using two very powerful trauma psychotherapy models, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Pesso-Boyden System Psychomotor Psychotherapy, both body-mind centered Psychotherapies.

With these psychotherapeutic approaches I’ll help you safely experience how emotional wounds can be safely released through your body and mind and how both can help you find your way to deep healing. With deep listening and a warm presence, I’ll welcome and allow whatever comes up for you that needs to be seen, heard and healed. I will be compassionate and help you move through old patterns to find a deeper truth and your innate resilience.

I have also trained with a world-renowned Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh in Mindfulness. I will use mindfulness practices to deepen your awareness as we work together.
